Hello to you all
My name is Steve and I live In France. I have a small bit of land which is only big enough for a compact tractor. However I bought a CASE / DB 1694 with the Intention of restoring it.
I used to work for Lister Wilders in Berkshire in the UK as an AG & Plant mechanic. But had to give it up when the missus (who's French) decided she had had enough of the UK.
I still miss my old job but things have worked out relly well here

Welcome officially now Steve
You can still have plenty of fun with a compact tractor What kind of soil do you have? Are you considering growing veggies or anything, keeping a few animals?
I'm sure being a mechanic should help with your tractor restoration. It's something I would love to have a go at myself but I don't have the cash for another 'toy'.
Anyways, it would probably be a better idea for me to 'restore' my existing workhorse tractor! _________________ It's the end of the world as we know it...
